The Pebble and the Penguin Color Key Concept - ID:marpebble3690

An incredible set of 13 color key concepts from the Don Bluth Studios animated film "The Pebble and the Penguin" (1995). Featuring gorgeous imagery of Hubie, Marina, and Rocko, the hand-painted concepts were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The concepts were used to develop and finalize the color palette, layout of the action, and the overall feel of the scene. When a color concept is finalized during production, it becomes the reference tool that animators use to paint cels and backgrounds, as well as to further progress through the storyboarding and layout of the individual scenes. The sequential color keys are attached to a planning board and in some cases to each other, and are in very good condition.
